About The Position

Walmart is hiring an over-the-road regional truck driver based at its Porterville, California facility, serving the Western U.S. Regional drivers can earn up to $110,000 in their first year. Requirements

Hold an Interstate Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a Hazmat endorsement and cleared background check, or obtain the endorsement and clear the background check within 120 calendar days of hire.
Have at least 30 months of experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position during the previous three years, or successfully complete the Walmart Fleet Development Academy Program.
Have no more than two moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.
Have no serious traffic violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.
Have no preventable collision while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.
Have no preventable DOT-recordable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last ten years.
Have no preventable accident resulting in a fatality or catastrophic injury in personal or commercial driving history.
Live within 250 miles of the assigned facility or establish and maintain a permanent residence within 250 miles within 90 days of hire or transfer.
Comply with Walmart’s drug- and alcohol-free workplace policy.
