About The Position

International Paper is seeking a Truck Driver for their Laurens Container Facility. This is a full-time, hourly position on the 2nd shift. The role involves driving a truck to deliver corrugated sheets and boxes, performing daily safety inspections, and completing necessary DOT paperwork. Responsibilities also include verifying delivery information, obtaining customer signatures, completing delivery and unloading timesheets, picking up pallets or rejected materials, and maintaining the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the truck.

Requirements

Must have CDL
2 years of over the road experience
10 year safe driving record

Responsibilities

Drives truck to deliver corrugated sheets and boxes
Responsible for daily safety inspection of truck
Fills out paperwork required by DOT
Delivers Bill of Lading to customer, obtains signature and returns to IP
Verify delivery information, counts, order number, appearance and notes any shipping damage incurred
Hook and unhook from trailer
Completes customer delivery and unloading time sheets
Picks up pallets or rejected material
Issues or obtains customer signature on the receipt for pickup or delivery
Cleans inside of truck and performs routine maintenance on truck
