About The Position
We are seeking Truck Drivers for both Class A and Class B routes based out of Madison, WI. This role involves delivering products safely and professionally, managing delivery paperwork, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring vehicle upkeep. You will also be responsible for completing DOT required vehicle inspections and paperwork to ensure compliance with all regulations. Requirements
- Commercial Driver's License - routes available for both Class A and Class B.
- Requires DOT Medical Certification.
- Must be willing to work variable hours and days including overtime.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 150 lbs.
- Ability to control a two wheeler down a ramp on a trailer.
- A lift assessment, DOT physical, and drug screen are required of all truck drivers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver product in a safe and professional manner within a timeframe designated by customer demands.
- Establish paper trail for each delivery and complete all appropriate D.O.T. and related paperwork.
- Maintain a friendly relationship with customers without spending an inappropriate amount of time.
- Keep vehicles clean.
- Communicate with our mechanics on any problems experienced with vehicles.
- Physically complete all DOT required vehicle inspections and paperwork in order to stay in compliance with all DOT regulations.
