About The Position

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable, safety-minded CDL Driver to deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Drivers operate local routes and are home every night, serving as a professional and friendly representative of Ferrellgas in their communities. The role includes operating propane trucks and equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards, inspecting vehicles, keeping delivery logs, assisting customers with delivery, account, and propane-safety questions, and participating in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.

Requirements

• Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements, or ability to obtain them quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
• Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Nice To Haves

• Previous truck driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.

• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Assist customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.
