About The Position

Ferrellgas is hiring a dependable, safety-minded part-time CDL Driver to deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Drivers operate local routes and are home every night while providing friendly, professional service to their communities. The role includes operating propane trucks and equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards, inspecting vehicles, maintaining delivery logs, and assisting customers with delivery, account, and propane-safety questions. Drivers also participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.

Requirements

• Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements, or the ability to obtain them quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good driving record.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
• Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Nice To Haves

• Previous truck driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity.
• Provide friendly, professional service as a representative of Ferrellgas in the community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Assist customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.
