Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license appropriate for operating medium‑capacity straight trucks.
  • Ability to safely operate and maneuver trucks rated between 1.5 and 4 tons.
  • Ability to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
  • Basic mechanical skills to perform minor repairs and maintain vehicle readiness.
  • Knowledge of safe operating practices, traffic regulations, and workplace safety guidelines.
  • Ability to follow established routes, schedules, and delivery protocols.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a medium‑capacity straight truck (1.5–4 tons) to transport goods, materials, equipment, or personnel between designated locations.
  • Load and unload the truck, with or without assistance, ensuring safe handling of all materials.
  • Perform minor mechanical repairs and basic troubleshooting to maintain vehicle operability.
  • Inspect the truck regularly to ensure it is kept in proper working order.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and basic upkeep of the vehicle.
  • Follow all applicable safety regulations, traffic laws, and operational procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, warehouse staff, and receiving personnel regarding transport schedules and material handling requirements.
  • Complete trip logs or transport documentation as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
