About The Position

Penske Logistics is hiring a full-time Class A Floater Truck Driver. The driver works across different routes and assignments, performing no-touch, drop-and-hook deliveries while operating safely and efficiently and maintaining a professional, courteous demeanor with customers. Drivers use late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks, including 53-foot automatic day-cab tractors designed for comfort. The position is home daily and pays $25.50 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours. The posting states average annual earnings of $92,820, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and additional safety and performance incentives of up to $6,600 annually. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 12 PM to 12 AM, for 60 hours per week. Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
Currently hold, or be able to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
At least 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years.
Three-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
English language proficiency as required by federal law.
Complete a Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, including past employment, education, and criminal history, and drug screening.
Ability to work the required schedule and at the specified location.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Ability to see and hear, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter and exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
