About The Position

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class B CDL Truck Drivers. Average $64220 annually. Home daily. Dedicated Route. Hazmat endorsement required (within 90 days of hire). Driver referral bonus program up to $5000 per referral. You will drive automatic straight trucks with liftgate-equipped equipment. Penske-maintained trucks are designed for comfort and safety. Equipment used for dedicated delivery operations.

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

Responsibilities

• Drive a dedicated route delivering auto parts and supplies to retail stores
• Unload palletized freight and totes using a manual pallet jack
• Make liftgate deliveries
• Perform hands-on deliveries while maintaining dependable, punctual service with limited direct supervision
