About The Position

Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Class B CDL Truck Drivers. Average $83000 annually. $3000 sign-on bonus. Monday through Friday. Hazmat endorsement required (90 days upon hire to obtain). You will drive Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks, Automatic straight truck equipment, Best-in-class specs designed for comfort, Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all. What you will do: Deliver auto parts to retail stores on dedicated route. Complete approximately 45 stops per week using a liftgate and electric pallet jack. Perform touch freight deliveries with consistent routes and customers. Drive high mileage route.

Requirements

Valid Class B CDL Airbrake endorsement required.
Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.

Responsibilities

Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
The associate must be able to see and hear.
The associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.
The associate must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
