About The Position

Penske Logistics is hiring Class A CDL Truck Drivers for a role involving 25 to 55 weekly multi-stop deliveries to stores of a major coffee chain. This position requires high volume loading and unloading of coffee and milk products from a refrigerated trailer using a hand dolly and lift gate. Drivers will maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and will be responsible for scanning items as they are unloaded and delivered. The schedule involves dispatch times between 10 AM and 7 PM, requiring flexibility, a 5-day work week with weekends required, consecutive days off during the week, and required layovers. Drivers will operate late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with dual zone reefer trailers, featuring automatic transmissions and designed for comfort. In-cab cameras are equipped for safety.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL required.
Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required.
1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years.
3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
Work the required schedule, work at the specific location required.
Complete Penske employment application.
Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
