About The Position

Penske Logistics is hiring Class A CDL Truck Drivers for a layover position involving multi-stop deliveries to stores of a major coffee chain. Drivers will be responsible for loading and unloading coffee and milk products using a hand dolly and lift gate, maintaining a professional demeanor with customers, and scanning items during delivery. The role requires flexibility in dispatch times, a 5-day work week with weekends required, consecutive days off during the week, and layovers. Drivers will operate late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks with dual zone reefer trailers and benefit from best-in-class specs designed for comfort, including automatic transmissions and in-cab cameras for safety.

Requirements

CDL Class A Truck Driver
Valid driver's license
Ability to perform road test
Flexibility required for dispatch times between 10 AM and 7 PM.
Weekends required
Layovers required

Nice To Haves

Experience with hand dolly and lift gate for loading and unloading.
Customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Perform 25 to 55 weekly multi-stop deliveries to stores of a major coffee chain.
High volume loading and unloading utilizing hand dolly and lift gate to unload coffee and milk products from a refrigerated trailer.
Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
Scan items as they are unloaded and delivered.
