Truck Driver, Class A Local Heavy Haul, Flatbed (On-Call)

This role is for specialized heavy haul operations with flexible local heavy haul work supporting specialized customer projects. The work involves local routes, primarily returning home the same day, and mainly involves flatbed, RGN, or Step Deck, oversize, and specialized cargo projects. Operations are focused across Indiana, Illinois and Michigan. The schedule is based on project and operational needs, and hours may vary week to week.
Requirements
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for oversize heavy haul transportation.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in oversized heavy haul transportation.
- Strong safety record and commitment to compliance.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with permits, escorts, and oversize routing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Hauling of heavy equipment, over dimensional loads and wind turbines throughout United States and Canada.
- Supporting specialized customer projects with flexible local heavy haul work.
- Operating primarily on local routes, with most work returning home the same day.
- Working with flatbed, RGN, or Step Deck, oversize, and specialized cargo projects.
- Operating across Indiana, Illinois and Michigan.
- Handling irregular routes within the Midwest region.
