About The Position

QSL Transport is seeking a Class A Truck Driver for local heavy haul operations, focusing on flatbed and specialized cargo projects. This role involves supporting specialized customer projects with flexible, project-based work primarily within Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan. Drivers will primarily work local routes, often returning home the same day, and will operate state-of-the-art equipment. The schedule is based on project and operational needs, with hours varying week to week.

Requirements

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for oversize heavy haul transportation.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in oversized heavy haul transportation.
• Strong safety record and commitment to compliance.
• Ability to handle irregular routes within the Midwest region.

• Experience with permits, escorts, and oversize routing.

Responsibilities

• Hauling heavy equipment, over dimensional loads, and wind turbines.
• Operating primarily flatbed, oversize, and specialized cargo equipment.
• Completing local routes, with most work returning home the same day.
• Handling irregular routes within the Midwest region (Indiana, Illinois, Michigan).
• Adhering to safety regulations and compliance standards.

Benefits
