About The Position

NFI is hiring a CDL A truck driver for dedicated dry van routes, with local, regional, and over-the-road opportunities. Routes include dedicated freight, drop-and-hook, and no-touch live deliveries. Local routes may provide daily home time, while long-haul opportunities offer flexible scheduling. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Hold a current Class A CDL from the state of residence.
Have at least six months of relevant tractor-trailer experience.
Provide acceptable verification of work history from past employers.
Meet all applicable DOT qualifications.
Be physically capable of performing the job duties, including frequent moving, standing, walking, and sitting; using hands to touch, handle, and feel; reaching with hands and arms; regularly lifting or moving up to 50 lbs/23 kg; and occasionally lifting or moving up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
Be legally able to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
Follow applicable federal and state laws and regulations, as well as customer rules, standards, and guidelines.
Perform routes, pickups, and deliveries according to customer requirements.
Report equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after the route.
Safely and frequently enter and exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
