Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Cincinnati, OH — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. This position offers a weekly average pay of $2,050+, with solo miles paying $0.62 per mile for 2000-3000 miles per week. Additionally, drivers can earn $50.00 per stop for 8-10 stops per week, and $45.00 per night for up to 3 nights per week. Detention pay is $35, and drop/hook at wash pay is $37.00 for 5 instances per week. This role requires a Tanker endorsement and prefers Hazmat (Ryder will train and assist in obtaining Hazmat). A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of Tanker experience is required. The tractor is a Sleeper with a Manual Transmission, and drivers must be able to operate a manual transmission or be willing to have the restriction removed with Ryder's training. A sign-on bonus of $4000 ($2000 at 30 days, $2000 at 90 days) and a safety bonus of $4500 ($1500 at 3 months, $1500 at 6 months, $1500 at 9 months) are offered. Paid training is provided. The schedule is Monday – Friday with rotating Sunday dispatch twice a month, starting between 3:00 AM - 6:00 AM. The delivery area includes OH, MI, IN, PA, WV, MS, AL, GA, IL, TN, AR, SC, NC, KY. The route involves regional driving with 2-3 layovers per week. The trailer type is a Liquid Tanker Trailer. Freight is no-touch, though the driver will connect hoses and pressurize the trailer with assistance.
