About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Dallas, TX — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. Drivers are averaging $2000+ or more per week. Top 10% of our drivers at this location make $100k+/year! Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly. Hourly Pay: $29.00 Per Hour Base Pay Plus Additional $1 for Every 3 Certifications/Endorsements. 1 year Flatbed experience required. Overtime Paid After 40 Hours. Hours Per Week: 40 + hours per week. Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night. Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel or Sleeper. Paid Travel. Tenure Bonus: Pays You $1000 each year you are with the company from Nov. 1- to Oct. 31. Freight: Mix of Touch/No Touch – Product Varies. Paid Training. Schedule: Monday - Friday - Must be Flexible. Choosing a driving career is a big decision. Tractor Type: Day Cab and Sleeper - Possibility of 26' Straight Truck. Trailer Type: 48' - 53' Flatbed, Dry Van, Reefer, Conestoga, Curtainside and Container. Hazmat Endorsements Preferred. Must have Real ID or Passport. Only one is required in order to Fly. Equipment: Manual Pallet Jack, Rollers, Lift Gate and Moffett. Load Securement – Strapping, Tarping and Chaining. Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful. Freight: Mix of Touch/No Touch - Varies by account. We Reimburse Cost and Provide Training to Obtain Endorsements. Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age
Pass a Ryder Drug Test
Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
