About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a Trombone Teacher to teach and inspire students through private music lessons. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels, while building positive relationships with students and parents through regular communication, goal-setting, and progress updates. The role partners with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching and developing musicians.

The listed pay is $12.77 per hour for non-teaching work, plus a teaching rate of $10–$23 per hour depending on background and experience. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, and other factors. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of music teaching experience, especially on trombone.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching experience on related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• Eight or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments.
