About The Position

The Building People, LLC, has an opening for a qualified TRIRIGA Application Developer to support a team of technical resources for the common goal of client delivery. This role involves providing support and guidance in the design, development, integration, upgrade, and configuration of enhancements to the client’s current implementation of the IBM TRIRIGA software within a US Federal Government environment. The developer will also provide operational support, report development, software analysis and design, software development, integration, configuration and testing support, and software security design and configuration. The position requires leading projects through the software development lifecycle, including performance analysis, design, development, and testing. Additionally, the role involves providing operational guidance on managing multiple server environments (Production, Development, Test), supporting backups and database updates, reviewing and resolving security vulnerabilities, and providing operational guidance with external cloud hosting environments. The developer will also support application and platform upgrades and patches, provide troubleshooting and debugging, share best practices, lead application performance tuning and architecture/design discussions, and communicate technical solutions to non-technical, executive-level Government officials. The position requires analyzing organizational needs, providing senior-level guidance on technical design and development, communicating technical solutions to customer stakeholders, leading demonstrations of technical solutions, and performing the primary client interface to client management and program stakeholders. Responsibilities also include defining and coordinating testing procedures, developing test cases, performing testing of implemented requirements, leading User Acceptance Testing, collecting and documenting results, and evaluating feedback. The developer will also implement maintenance procedures, monitor system health, gather system statistics, troubleshoot errors, manage change control board processes, and implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance. Support for all technical components required for TRIRIGA operation, including system administration functions and support of Oracle, Red Hat, Java, and WebSphere Liberty, is also required.
