About The Position

The TRiO Academic Program Coordinator assists the Program Manager with the daily administration of one of the TRIO academic programs. This role provides academic, financial aid, graduate school, personal, and career advising to a caseload of students in the TRiO Student Support Services program. The coordinator also manages the peer mentor program and plans events every other month.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work with students, faculty, and staff in a collaborative manner with little to no supervision.
• Strong relationship building skills.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, social work, counseling, or other related field.
• Three (3) years of direct TRIO experience.
• Relevant advising, counselor, case management, higher education, or direct engagement with at-risk student populations experience.
