About The Position

Set up, operate efficiently, and maintain Sierra Bullets jacket trim machines. This role involves adhering to company SOPs and policies, operating the assigned production area to established standards of quality and productivity, and resolving production problems in a timely manner. The position requires clear and consistent communication with the Trim Lead and Production Supervisors, accurate reporting of production information, and potential training of new Trimmer LTS. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to work with and communicate well with others while displaying a positive attitude and work environment.
• Ability to use metrology equipment such as scales, calipers, and micrometers.
• Working knowledge of decimals, fractions, and basic mathematics.
• Mechanical ability to troubleshoot tooling and machinery.
• Ability to perform tool and machine part adjustments.
• Ability to perform close tolerance and detailed mechanical work.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Score of 17 or higher on the Sierra Bullets Mechanical Aptitude Test.
• Mechanical background.
• Manufacturing of some sort.

Responsibilities

• Work safety at all times.
• Strictly adhere to all Company SOPs and policies.
• Operate assigned production area, daily, to established standards of quality, and productivity.
• Resolve production problems in a timely manner in assigned production areas while improving quality and productivity.
• Provide clear and consistent communication with the Trim Lead and Production Supervisors regarding all activity and issues relating to the assigned Production area.
• Accurately report all production related information on a timely basis using computer or manual form.
• May be asked to train new Trimmer LTS.
• Other duties as assigned.
