About The Position

The full-time Trim Puller is a warehouse associate responsible for accurately and promptly pulling and staging outgoing orders. The role also performs material handling, inventory work, and forklift operation. Duties include loading and unloading lumber and other building supplies, maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard, caring for equipment, controlling shrink, stocking inventory, and communicating delays or discrepancies to management. Forklift training and certification are provided.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and effectively present information to others one-on-one.
• Ability to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming freight.
• Stock inventory.
• Pull outgoing orders.
• Stage outgoing orders.
• Load and unload freight, including lumber and building supplies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized lumber yard and care for equipment.
• Control shrink.
• Complete forklift training and certification and operate a forklift.
• Keep management informed of delays or discrepancies.
