About The Position

The Customer Service Trim Carpenter is responsible for completing service calls, warranty work, and punch list items related to doors and trim. This role involves diagnosing and repairing finish carpentry issues while providing a high level of customer service in occupied homes or buildings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3–6+ years in trim or finish carpentry
• Experience with door installation and adjustment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to work in occupied homes and maintain professionalism
• Own tools (often required)

Nice To Haves

• Prior service or punch work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform service and warranty work on interior doors (adjustments, alignment, hardware fixes), baseboards, crown molding, and trim repairs, and door/window casings and finish details.
• Diagnose and resolve issues such as doors not closing properly, gaps, cracks, or separation in trim, nail pops, caulking failures, or minor damage.
• Complete punch list items after construction is finished.
• Communicate directly with homeowners, tenants, or clients.
• Represent the company professionally in occupied spaces.
• Document completed work and report unresolved issues.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and materials.
• Ensure work is completed cleanly with minimal disruption.
