About The Position
This is a full-time Trim Assembly position on the 3rd shift. The role involves assembling parts according to blueprints, ensuring proper torque and seals, inspecting and testing valves, and packaging finished products according to quality standards. The position is located in Hastings, MI.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
- Fastens parts together with wrenches and pipe compound assuring proper torque is used.
- Inspects parts for proper Quality and ensure that a produce a proper seal between parts is achieved.
- Tests Trimmed and Pre-Trimmed Valves and Devices according to approval laboratory guide lines.
- Inspects and packages Trimmed Valves according to Viking quality standards.
- Disassembles Pre trimmed valves and package according to work order instructions.
- Identifies scrap and salvage and records such for inventory purposes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
