About The Position

This is a full-time position for Trim Assembly located in Hastings, MI. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with a salary range of $20.96 - $20.96 per hour, plus a $1.00 shift premium for the second shift. The position involves assembling parts, ensuring proper torque and seals, inspecting and testing valves, and packaging according to quality standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
• Fastens parts together with wrenches and pipe compound assuring proper torque is used.
• Inspects parts for proper Quality and ensure that a produce a proper seal between parts is achieved.
• Tests Trimmed and Pre-Trimmed Valves and Devices according to approval laboratory guide lines.
• Inspects and packages Trimmed Valves according to Viking quality standards.
• Disassembles Pre trimmed valves and package according to work order instructions.
• Identifies scrap and salvage and records such for inventory purposes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
