About The Position
We’re looking for a reliable, patient-focused Triage Coordinator to join our clinical team at our Stone Oak location in San Antonio, TX. As a Triage Coordinator, you will support our pain management services, ensuring smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient care. This includes triaging patients, preparing them for procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Proficient with EMR systems
- Strong communication, patient service, and multitasking abilities
- Organized, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in pain management, urgent care, primary care, orthopedics, or related medical setting preferred
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Room and triage patients, collect and document vitals, medical history, pain assessments, medication lists, and chief complaints
- Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and necessary equipment
- Assist with diagnostic workflows
- Support triage activities under provider guidance
- Ensure a professional, positive, and compassionate patient experience in all interactions
- Accurately document all clinical notes, treatments, and communications in the EMR
- Ensure timely completion of charts, orders, and patient updates
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and clinical areas
- Monitor, track, and restock medical supplies and medications
- Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety protocols
