About The Position

SavATree is seeking passionate individuals to join our General Tree Care Team. As an industrial athlete, you will work outdoors on beautiful properties, applying your expertise in climbing, pruning, and safety to maintain and preserve the health of our clients' landscapes. This role involves all aspects of tree care, including pruning, removals, and cable bracing, while ensuring safe operation of equipment and excellent client service. You will also be responsible for transporting equipment and operating vehicles to job sites.

Requirements

• Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species’ characteristics.
• Ability to climb without spurs.
• Experience with tree care safety standards.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).
• Valid U.S. driver's license to operate company vehicles.
• CDL required.
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality tree care to clients as part of a General Tree Care crew.
• Perform all aspects of pruning, removals, cable bracing, and other tree care concepts.
• Safely operate all equipment and perform assigned job tasks.
• Provide excellent service to clients.
• Transport equipment and operate vehicles to job sites.
