About The Position

Joshua Tree Experts, a leading tree care company, is seeking an experienced Tree Climber to join their team. This role is crucial for ensuring safe tree operations, maintaining equipment, and communicating effectively with the crew, clients, and the public. The Tree Climber will work as part of a 2-4 person crew, assisting in tree removal, pruning, and preservation techniques, while upholding the company's strong safety culture and ANSI standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of experience in tree climbing.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week.

Nice To Haves

• Forestry or Horticulture Degree.
• ISA Certified Arborist.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques.
• Ensure safe tree operations.
• Maintain assigned equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the crew leader and coworkers.
• Communicate with clients and the public near the job site.
• Delegate work to Groundman Operations Specialist.
• Maintain vehicle and assigned equipment.
• Follow company safety culture.
• Understand and follow ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations.
• Be available to work at least 40 hours per week.
• Understand aerial lift operations.
