About The Position

Joshua Tree Experts, a leading tree care company, is seeking an experienced Tree Climber to join their team. This role is crucial for the tree crew, involving tree removal, pruning, and preservation techniques. The Tree Climber will work as part of a 2-4 person crew, ensuring safe tree operations, maintaining equipment, and communicating effectively with the crew, clients, and the public. The position requires availability for at least 40 hours per week and an understanding of aerial lift operations.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• At least 4 years experience of tree climbing
• Valid driver's license
• Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week
• Understanding of aerial lift operations

Nice To Haves

• Forestry or Horticulture Degree
• ISA Certified Arborist

Responsibilities

• Communicates with crew leader and coworkers effectively
• Maintain professional image
• Provide excellent customer service
• Delegate work to Groundman Operations Specialist
• Maintain vehicle and assigned equipment
• Follow company safety culture
• Understand and follow ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations
• Assist in tree removal, tree pruning, and general tree preservation techniques
