About The Position
Performs a variety of operational, laboratory, and maintenance duties designed to provide safe disposal of domestic and commercial waste materials. Work includes monitoring the plant’s operation through observation, mechanical readings and the results of standard chemical and biological tests to make necessary adjustments in the process as conditions or test results dictate. Other duties include assisting with plant and facilities maintenance and substantial record keeping of work activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Certified as a Grade I Wastewater Operator within 1 year of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of a water or wastewater treatment plant.
