Sacramento River Dental Group is a modern, patient-focused dental practice with 9 operatories , 2 doctors , and 2.5 hygienists . Our providers are highly efficient and passionate about delivering same-day treatment , creating a fast-paced and rewarding environment for team members who thrive on helping patients move forward with care. We are seeking a confident and patient-focused Treatment Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted patient advocate , guiding patients through their treatment journey by clearly presenting treatment plans, explaining clinical necessity, and coordinating financial solutions. This is a key role in driving case acceptance , improving patient experience, and supporting overall practice growth.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of dental experience (Treatment Coordinator or similar role preferred)
- Strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology
- Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financials
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in discussing treatment and financial arrangements
- A patient-first mindset with a passion for helping others
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, same-day treatment environment
- Team player with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude
Nice To Haves
- Proven track record of high case acceptance
- Familiarity with dental practice management software
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Responsibilities
- Present and explain complex treatment plans in a clear, patient-friendly manner
- Educate patients on clinical needs and recommended care
- Build trust and rapport to increase case acceptance rates
- Review insurance benefits and outline financial options
- Coordinate scheduling for same-day and future treatment
- Collaborate closely with doctors, hygienists, and front office team
- Follow up with patients regarding pending or unscheduled treatment
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
