About The Position
The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for the ideal New Patient experience. They must be able to follow the full assessment by the doctor and spend time with patients to answer questions related to treatment and fees. The goal is to ensure patients leave well informed, with all their questions answered about treatment options and alternative fees introduced. CHOICE Healthcare Services is the largest provider of pediatric dental care in the Southwest United States, and they pride themselves on delivering high-quality care to children in their communities. They work with Pediatric Dentists, Orthodontists, and Anesthesiologists.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bi-lingual Spanish - English required
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of experience with dental or orthodontic treatment planning experience
Responsibilities
- Maintains a low percentage of no-shows by confirming patient appointments the two nights before and continually monitoring and moving
- Support of the office, doctor, and team members
- Discussion of orthodontic treatment plan with patients/parents
- Explanation of office policies and procedures
- Schedules contract, records and any follow up appointments needed in Practice Management System
- Maintain and utilize recall system
- Back up-front desk by being third on phones
- Prepares contracts - discusses financial arrangements-has responsible party sign
