About The Position

Holman is seeking a remote Automotive Service Advisor for their TRC Call Center. This role requires a strong background in automotive or truck mechanics and involves providing technical support, assessing repair needs, ensuring fair pricing, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility while staying connected to the automotive industry.

Requirements

Valid mechanic’s license 310S or 310T.
5+ years of hands-on experience in automotive or truck repair.
Proficient in MS Office Programs specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

5+ year’s relevant experience in a contact center setting.
Post-Secondary Education (i.e. College diploma, Certificate, or Apprenticeship).
ASE certification or willing to obtain within established timeline set by ARI.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal teams and provide technical support grounded in real-world automotive mechanical experience.
Assess the necessity, scope, and accuracy of recommended repairs based on industry standards and hands-on experience.
Ensure repair and maintenance work is performed appropriately and priced fairly.
Identify opportunities for cost savings through technical review and, when appropriate, negotiate repairs; document all savings realized.
Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are technically sound and consistently followed.
Maintain individual performance metrics at or above established goals.
Contribute positively to team morale and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
Adapt to operational changes while remaining calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressure.
Maintain a professional image, strong work ethic, and accountability in a fully remote environment.
