About The Position

Holman has an outstanding opportunity for a remote Bilingual Automotive Service Advisor. This role requires flexibility within the hours of 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. The position is ideal for individuals with a background as a Mechanic, Auto Technician, or Shop Foreman, allowing them to leverage their automotive knowledge in a fast-paced, remote environment. The role involves collaborating with internal teams, providing technical support, assessing repair necessity and scope, ensuring fair pricing, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules. The technician will also be responsible for meeting individual performance metrics and contributing positively to team morale while maintaining professionalism and adaptability in a remote setting.

Requirements

  • Valid mechanic’s license 310S or 310T.
  • Fully Bilingual - English/French
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in automotive or truck repair
  • Proficient in MS Office Programs specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ year’s relevant experience in a contact center setting
  • Post-Secondary Education (i.e. College diploma, Certificate, or Apprenticeship)
  • ASE certification or willing to obtain within established timeline set by ARI.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams and provide technical support grounded in real‑world automotive mechanical experience.
  • Assess the necessity, scope, and accuracy of recommended repairs based on industry standards and hands‑on experience.
  • Ensure repair and maintenance work is performed appropriately and priced fairly.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings through technical review and, when appropriate, negotiate repairs; document all savings realized.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are technically sound and consistently followed.
  • Maintain individual performance metrics at or above established goals.
  • Contribute positively to team morale and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
  • Adapt to operational changes while remaining calm, professional, and solution‑focused under pressure.
  • Maintain a professional image, strong work ethic, and accountability in a fully remote environment.
