About The Position
The Tray Runner position is responsible for the delivery and pick-up of patient trays from patient units. This position is responsible for daily floor stock inventory and cleanliness of unit nourishment / utility rooms.
Requirements
- ANSI Accredited Food Handler Training within 30 days
Responsibilities
- Re-stock food and small wares supplies according to the established par levels.
- Deliver or serve patient/guest meal trays in a timely manner.
- Keep production preparation areas clean and sanitary using the established Public Health District standards.
- Follow guidelines for food handling and sanitation and ensure compliance.
- Customer service skills
- Complete dish and ware washing duties as assigned.
- Maintain dish room, ware washing area and tray assembly area in a clean and sanitary manner.
