Traveling - Waterproofer (Caulker) - DFW
About The Position
The ideal candidate will have experience with various materials and techniques used in sealing and waterproofing structures along with caulking. This role involves installing various types of barriers, such as fluid-applied, spray foam, or sheet membranes, following specific product instructions and building codes to properly seal joints, seams, and penetrations, attention to detail. The Caulker/Waterproofer will be responsible for ensuring that all caulking and waterproofing tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall integrity of our projects. This position will require travel to project sites across Texas, including Amarillo, Abilene, and San Antonio, as well as Monroe, Louisiana.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of waterproofing/caulking experience (for Waterproofer/Caulker)
- Minimum of 4-5+ years of waterproofing and foreman or lead experience (for Foreman)
- Experience operating lifts (aerial, scissor, boom)
- Skills in air barrier installation
- Skills in expansion joints
- Skills in detail caulking
- Skills in applying sealant between Insulated Metal Panels
- Skills in adhering insulation to foundation wall and covering with flashing
- Skills in properly lapping metal trims to provide a sealed system
- Skills in dynamic sealant joints in both new construction and retrofit/restoration
- Skills in metal panel joints, concrete tilt, panel joints, sidewalk and civil sealant joints, fabrics and joint fillers
- Skills in control joint caulking, masonry joint caulking
- Skills in sheet metal support flashings
- Skills in compressed foam expansion joint systems
- Skills in glazing, glass installs
- Experience installing foundation sheet waterproofing and insulation
- Experience installing sheet applied weather barriers, fluid applied weather barriers
- Experience installing water repellents and protective coatings
- Experience installing horizontal coating systems (Traffic coatings, HRA -hot rubberized asphalt, CFA -cold fluid applied asphalt coatings, Polyurea coatings)
- Experience installing roof paver systems
- Experience installing firestopping product
- Experience installing dynamic sealant joints in both new construction and retrofit/restoration
- Experience installing compressed foam expansion joint systems
- Experience installing waterproofing material accessory components including compressive expansion joints between panels and other systems
