About The Position

This role is for an experienced Traveling Superintendent who loves the open road and excels at running job sites. At Singleton Construction, no two projects or months are the same, with work spanning across the central and southern United States. The position involves travelling between project locations, leading teams, building relationships, and delivering exceptional commercial construction projects. Requirements

• Experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and site management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
• A proactive approach to health and safety.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Willingness to travel extensively as projects require.
• Comfortable travelling and staying away from home for extended periods when required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience delivering retail, commercial, remodel or multi-site construction projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction activities on site from mobilization through final handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
• Lead all day-to-day site operations.
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate on-site activities.
• Maintain safe, organized and productive job sites.
• Deliver projects to schedule while maintaining exceptional quality.
• Identify and resolve issues before they impact project delivery.
• Work closely with Project Managers to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Build strong relationships with clients, landlords, vendors and project partners.
• Conduct site meetings, inspections and quality checks.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
• Support successful project closeout and client handover.
