About The Position

Cranial Technologies is the world leader in pediatric cranial shaping orthoses, dedicated to researching and treating plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) with over 300,000 successful treatments. They also offer the non-invasive EarWell® treatment for infant ear shape correction, with over 600,000 successful outcomes. This full-time Nationwide Traveling Registered Nurse position, based out of Dallas, TX, offers the unique opportunity to practice in a niche, pediatric clinical outpatient setting exclusively with infants and their families across various Cranial Technologies locations nationwide. The role involves traveling to clinics in up to 32 states, with travel typically occurring Monday afternoons/evenings and clinic work from Tuesday to Friday, returning home each weekend. Assignments are provided at least two weeks in advance. The company covers all travel expenses and provides a per diem. This fast-paced role requires adaptability to new settings weekly, working with new teammates and families, and taking over existing caseloads. Clinicians are experts in evaluating and treating plagiocephaly and misshapen ears using the DOC Band® and EarWell®, building strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. While backgrounds like PT, OT, and CPO are also considered, Registered Nurses are valued for their hands-on patient care, compassion, and ability to treat the whole patient.

Requirements

  • Licensed RN
  • Background in pediatrics is required.
  • State-issued REAL ID compliant license or equivalent TSA accepted travel documentation required by start date
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Must complete AHCA's screening program.

Responsibilities

  • Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band®.
  • Correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
  • Act as an expert in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears.
  • Develop relationships with families at every stage of their treatment process.
  • Travel to various Cranial Technologies clinic locations across the United States weekly.
  • Take over caseloads for other clinicians, meeting new families.
