About The Position

Cranial Technologies is seeking a Nationwide Traveling Registered Nurse based out of Chicago, IL. This is a full-time position for someone looking to practice in a variety of Cranial Technologies locations across the United States. This role offers an opportunity to work outside of traditional prosthetics and orthotics in a niche, pediatric clinical outpatient setting exclusively with infants and their families. The position involves traveling to any state where Cranial Technologies has a clinic, with travel typically occurring on Monday afternoons/evenings and working in the clinic Tuesday through Friday, returning home Friday afternoons/evenings. Assignments are provided at least two weeks in advance. The company is looking for candidates close to a major airport for ease of travel. Cranial Technologies covers all travel expenses and provides a per diem. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced and new settings, enjoy working with new teammates and families, and are adaptable to different clinic environments weekly.

Requirements

  • Licensed RN
  • Background in pediatrics is required.
  • State-issued REAL ID compliant license or equivalent TSA accepted travel documentation required by start date.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Must complete AHCA's screening program.

Responsibilities

  • Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band®.
  • Correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
  • Serve as an expert in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears.
  • Develop relationships with families throughout their treatment process.
  • Take over caseloads from other clinicians, meeting new families regularly.
  • Travel to various Cranial Technologies clinic locations across the United States.
