About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a Traveling Portable Restroom Technician based out of Houston, TX. This role involves providing general maintenance and repair for portable restrooms and offers opportunities to work on the newest equipment in the industry. As a traveling technician, the individual will utilize the company's proprietary T3 platform to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues by pulling data from various makes and models. This enables technicians to work smarter by quickly determining the root cause and corrective action for each issue. Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of plumbing and portable toilet facilities, and diagrams
  • Plumbing experience
  • High School diploma, or equivalent
  • Active applicable state class driver's license
  • Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
  • Passing a 10 panel drug screen (for safety sensitive position)
  • Passing a background check

Nice To Haves

  • Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)
  • Construction knowledge and background preferred

Responsibilities

  • Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment
  • Use technology (laptops, tablets, and mobile phone) comfortably
  • Perform installs, plumbing, repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of rental bathroom trailers
  • Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis
  • Other duties, assigned as needed
