About The Position

Cranial Technologies is seeking a Nationwide Traveling Physical Therapist based out of Houston, TX. This is a full-time position where you will practice in various Cranial Technologies locations across the United States. The role is in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, exclusively working with infants. This is a unique opportunity to treat patients in a child-friendly, state-of-the-art clinic, specializing in a non-traditional, niche area. You will travel to any state with a Cranial Technologies clinic, currently in 32 states and growing. Travel is typically Monday afternoon/evening, with work in the clinic Tuesday through Friday, returning home Friday afternoon/evening. You will be home every Saturday and Sunday. Travel assignments are provided 2+ weeks in advance. You will be traveling every week, either locally or to another state. Candidates close to a major airport are preferred for ease of travel booking. Cranial Technologies covers all travel expenses and provides a per diem. The role requires thriving in fast-paced and new settings, potentially working in a different clinic each week with new teammates and building relationships across the company. You will be taking over a caseload from another clinician, meeting new families each week.

Requirements

  • Licensed PT
  • 500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g., splints, braces, maternity belts)
  • State-issued REAL ID compliant license or equivalent TSA accepted travel documentation required by start date
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
  • Must complete AHCA screening program

Nice To Haves

  • Background in pediatrics is preferred, but not necessary as we have a formal training program that includes mentoring.
  • Candidates close to a major airport for ease of travel booking.

Responsibilities

  • Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
  • Serve as an expert in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears.
  • Develop strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process.
  • Travel to various Cranial Technologies clinics across the United States.
  • Evaluate and treat patients in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting.
