About The Position

Cranial Technologies is the leader in pediatric cranial shaping orthoses, specializing in treating plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) and ear shape correction with EarWell®. They are seeking a Nationwide Traveling Physical Therapist based out of Dallas, TX, for a full-time position. This role involves practicing in various Cranial Technologies locations across the United States, working exclusively with infants in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting. It offers a unique opportunity to specialize in a non-traditional, niche area within child-friendly, state-of-the-art clinics. The position requires frequent travel, typically Monday afternoons/evenings, with workdays Tuesday through Friday, returning home each weekend. Travel assignments are provided at least two weeks in advance. Candidates should ideally be located near a major airport. Cranial Technologies covers all travel expenses and provides a per diem. The role involves working in different clinics weekly, collaborating with new teammates, and taking over existing caseloads, thus meeting new families regularly.

Requirements

  • Licensed PT
  • 500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g., splints, braces, maternity belts)
  • State-issued REAL ID compliant license or equivalent TSA accepted travel documentation required by start date
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Must complete AHCA screening program

Nice To Haves

  • Background in pediatrics is preferred.
  • Candidates close to a major airport for ease of travel booking.

Responsibilities

  • Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band®.
  • Treat infants to correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
  • Serve as an expert in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears.
  • Develop relationships with families throughout their treatment process.
  • Travel to various Cranial Technologies clinics across the United States.
  • Take over existing caseloads for other clinicians.
