Traveling Orthodontics Dental Assistant
About The Position
Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking an energetic and motivated Dental Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced dental practice. The position requires regular travel between the Cutler Bay and Kendale Lakes offices; mileage reimbursement is provided. The Dental Assistant will assist dentists and the dental team, help maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, educate patients, perform basic dental procedures under a licensed dentist’s guidance, and support scheduling and recordkeeping. Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred, but training may be provided to the right candidate. State-specific certifications and training requirements apply.

Responsibilities
- Assist the dental team in providing patient care.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
- Support dentists during procedures by anticipating their needs and helping ensure a smooth workflow.
- Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records.
- Travel regularly between the Cutler Bay and Kendale Lakes offices.
