Traveling Orthodontics Dental Assistant
About The Position
Great Expressions Dental Centers is seeking an energetic and motivated Dental Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced dental practice. The role requires regular travel between the Pembroke Pines and Coconut Creek offices, with mileage reimbursement provided. The assistant will help the dental team deliver patient care, prepare and maintain treatment rooms, educate patients, assist dentists during procedures, perform basic dental procedures under a licensed dentist’s guidance, and manage appointments and records. Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred, though training may be provided to the right candidate. Applicants must meet the applicable state requirements listed in the posting. These vary by state and may include CPR certification, EFDA certification, proof of formal X-ray training, permits, and other state-specific credentials.

Responsibilities
- Assist the dental team in providing patient care.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care.
- Support dentists during procedures by anticipating their needs and helping ensure a smooth workflow.
- Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist.
- Manage appointment scheduling and maintain accurate patient records.
- Travel regularly between the Pembroke Pines and Coconut Creek offices.
