About The Position

VFC Lightning Protection is hiring motivated individuals to install state-of-the-art lightning protection systems throughout the Pacific Northwest. This is a full-time travel position, with employees expected to travel approximately 50% of the time. Candidates should be based in the Idaho Falls area, but must have the flexibility to support projects in other locations as business needs require. Requirements

Comfortable traveling for project work approximately 50% of the time.
Flexibility to travel throughout the Pacific Northwest as needed.
18+ years old.
High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Able to pass a medical exam and drug test.
Licensed driver with a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
Physically fit – able to lift up to 80 lbs. and work comfortably on rooftops and ladders.
Honest, hardworking, and a team player who enjoys working outdoors.

Construction or electrical experience is a huge plus!

Responsibilities

Installing lightning protection systems on high roofs and specialized grounding projects.
Reading blueprints and construction plans to ensure top-tier installations.
Handling and installing lightning protection cables.
Ensuring all work complies with onsite safety regulations.
Working on local projects as well as traveling to support crews in other locations as project demands change.
Working as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.
Tackling other duties as assigned.
