About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Johnson State Prison (Medical Intensive Infirmary) in Wrightsville, GA. This role involves providing holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the scope of practice, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff. Assignments will be at various facilities throughout Georgia, restricted to one location per contract. The shift is days, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Requirements
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Georgia.
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
