About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Augusta State Medical Prison in Grovetown, GA. This role involves providing holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the scope of practice, under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff. Travel LPNs assigned to Georgia can earn up to $1740/week, including a non-taxed weekly stipend. Travelers are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees and will work at various facilities/locations throughout Georgia based on contract needs, with each assignment restricted to one location.
Requirements
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Georgia.
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility.
- Appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
