About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Centurion Eagles Travel Team at Algoa Correctional Center in Jefferson City, MO. This role involves providing holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff. The LPN will respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs and will work at various facilities/locations throughout the state of Missouri, with each assignment restricted to one location.
Requirements
- Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Missouri.
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
