About The Position

At Ideal Dental, the Endodontic Dental Assistant supports patients and the clinical team throughout endodontic treatment. The assistant helps create a welcoming, reassuring experience, works alongside the Endodontist to support precise and efficient procedures, educates patients about post-treatment care, coordinates care and follow-ups, and maintains accurate records. The role also supports clinical readiness, patient flow, and daily practice operations in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. The position requires travel within assigned areas.

Requirements

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of specific endodontic experience.
• Must be willing to travel within assigned areas.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and help patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their endodontic care.
• Assist the Endodontist with procedures.
• Support patients during complex endodontic procedures and help keep them informed and calm.
• Sterilize instruments and set up trays.
• Prepare treatment rooms.
• Perform X-rays.
• Chart existing and recommended treatments and maintain accurate records.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and recovery.
• Coordinate care and follow-ups, providing timely treatment and clear communication.
• Help manage clinical readiness, patient flow, and operational support.
• Perform other duties as required to support the office and Endodontic team.
