About The Position

Amteck is seeking a traveling Electrical Superintendent to oversee and coordinate electrical field work, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards. The role leads electricians, coordinates service assignments, provides technical guidance, and supports successful project delivery in collaboration with project managers and clients. The position also includes maintaining records, mentoring field technicians, and keeping the team’s knowledge current with industry trends, codes, and regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in electrical field service or related roles, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, including the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering quality results.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with diverse stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and electricians.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Active electrical journeyman's or master's license (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of electricians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, project schedules, and quality standards.
• Coordinate and schedule service assignments, including installations, repairs, and maintenance work.
• Provide technical guidance and support to electricians, troubleshoot complex electrical issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct regular work-site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to support successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including work orders, equipment records, and inspection reports.
• Train and mentor field technicians, identifying and addressing skill gaps through coaching and development initiatives.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, codes, and regulations so the team’s knowledge and skills remain current.
