Requirements

  • Certificate from an accredited Dental Assisting Program
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification
  • Ability to travel between multiple care locations throughout the Mid-Willamette Valley
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between care locations are essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Certification
  • Dental Radiology (X-Ray) Certification
  • Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where applicable
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Previous experience working in community health, public health, mobile dentistry, or multi-site clinical environments

Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during clinical procedures in both mobile and traditional clinic settings.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and mobile operatories for patient care.
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards.
  • Support patient education and ensure an exceptional patient experience.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Travel between community clinics and the mobile dental van as part of the Outreach Team.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teammates to provide efficient, compassionate care across multiple locations.
